1. Reservations
Reservations may be made through our website, WhatsApp, email, or any authorized booking platform.
A reservation is considered confirmed once payment or the agreed deposit has been received and confirmed by Palmas Tours.
2. Payments
Payment methods accepted will be communicated during the booking process.
Prices are quoted in the applicable currency and may be subject to change without prior notice until a reservation has been confirmed.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Customers may request a cancellation by contacting Palmas Tours.
Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation notice provided before the scheduled tour date.
No refunds will be issued for:
- No-shows.
- Late arrivals that result in missing the departure.
- Voluntary withdrawal from the tour after departure.
If Palmas Tours cancels a tour due to weather conditions, unsafe sea conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, guests may be offered:
- Rescheduling to another available date.
- A full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
4. Weather Conditions
Safety is our highest priority.
Tours may be postponed or canceled due to:
- Strong winds.
- Rough sea conditions.
- Tropical storms.
- Hurricanes.
- Government restrictions.
- Any condition that could compromise passenger safety.
The final decision rests with Palmas Tours.
5. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
- Follow all safety instructions provided by the captain and crew.
- Wear safety equipment when requested.
- Respect marine life and protected reef areas.
- Avoid touching coral formations, starfish, turtles, rays, or any marine species.
- Avoid littering in the ocean or on beaches.
Guests who fail to follow safety instructions may be removed from the tour without refund if their behavior endangers themselves or others.
6. Health Conditions
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate.
Please inform Palmas Tours before booking if you have:
- Heart conditions.
- Respiratory illnesses.
- Recent surgeries.
- Pregnancy.
- Limited mobility.
- Any medical condition that could affect participation.
Participation is at your own risk.
7. Children
Children must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Parents or guardians assume full responsibility for minors during the tour.
8. Marine Wildlife
Marine life sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Species such as:
- Tropical fish
- Sea turtles
- Stingrays
- Starfish
are observed in their natural habitat and depend on environmental conditions.
9. Personal Belongings
Palmas Tours is not responsible for:
- Lost items.
- Damaged personal belongings.
- Water damage to electronic devices.
- Forgotten items.
Guests are encouraged to bring waterproof protection for valuables.
10. Liability
Palmas Tours operates under established safety procedures.
By participating, guests acknowledge that snorkeling and marine activities involve inherent risks.
Palmas Tours shall not be held liable for injuries, accidents, or losses resulting from:
- Failure to follow crew instructions.
- Pre-existing medical conditions.
- Negligence by the participant.
- Events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Photography
Photos and videos taken during the tour may be used by Palmas Tours for promotional purposes unless the participant requests otherwise in writing before the tour begins.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for:
- Reservation management.
- Customer communication.
- Operational purposes.
We do not sell or share customer information with third parties except where required by law.
13. Changes to Tours
Palmas Tours reserves the right to modify:
- Departure times.
- Tour routes.
- Itineraries.
- Included stops.
when necessary due to weather, safety, operational requirements, or governmental regulations.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
